From UK news outlet Devon Live:
Single parents open up about struggles during lockdown "It can be a bit lonely especially at night" Single parents have opened up about life under lockdown. One single mother who suffers from chronic fatigue syndrome is "struggling" to care for her child during lockdown. The solo parent who has asked not to be named, is finding the demands of single parenting tough during lockdown. The mother, who has underlying health issues, is unable to get a priority slot in order to get essential items delivered to her home, forcing her and her child to take a trip out to the shops. “Living on a limited budget, and with the struggles of stock, it’s been hard to get over a week’s worth of groceries in one go.”
