Stuart Murdoch Of Belle And Sebastian On Spirituality And Living With WeaknessSaturday 7 April 2018
From Australian newspaper The Sydney Morning Herald:
Stuart Murdoch of Belle and Sebastian on spirituality and living with weakness ... As someone who spent most of his 20s in the grip of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), [Belle and Sebastian leader Stuart] Murdoch guards his health jealously, particularly when he is on the road. He isn't always successful. The band was forced to cancel a tour in 2015 when he succumbed to CFS in Spain and soon found himself mired in depression. "Depression and chronic fatigue go hand in hand for me, it's an established pattern," he says. He looks up and smiles shyly. "What a lovely combination!"
