Life-Changing Illness For Port Broughton's Judy RhodesThursday 24 November 2016
Society member Judy Rhodes featured in a recent article in South Australian newspaper the Yorke Peninsula Country Times:
Life-changing illness for Broughton’s Judy Rhodes PORT Broughton’s Judy Rhodes has been practically house-bound since developing chronic fatigue syndrome 11 years ago. Mrs Rhodes lived a busy life and worked as a school principal when she contracted whooping cough and never fully recovered. “I had whooping cough twice in a year and I just didn’t seem to recover, when I stood up I felt really strange like I was going to faint and I was sleeping all the time,” Mrs Rhodes said.
