UK ME/CFS Sufferer Has Benefits CutTuesday 2 August 2016
From UK newspaper the Daily Mail:
Benefits hoarder who refuses to bin her EIGHT THOUSAND videos is left furious after being told she is fit for work (and hopes the man who assessed her 'chokes on his dinner')
A hoarder who has more than 8,000 video tapes that she refuses to throw away is livid that her benefits have been cut after she was deemed fit to work. Karen, 59, from Barnsley, says she suffers from 'very painful' arthritis of the spine and chronic fatigue syndrome which makes even simple tasks like cleaning her own home difficult. She has been living on disability allowance for some time, but two-and-a-half years ago, she had her claim assessed and she was told she was capable of earning money through employment.
