ME/CFS Australia (SA) Inc supports the needs of sufferers of Myalgic Encephalomyelitis, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and related illnesses. We do this by providing services and information to members.


ME/CFS Australia (SA) Inc aims to keep members informed of various research projects, diets, medications, therapies, news items, etc. All communication, both verbal and written, is merely to disseminate information and not to make recommendations or directives.

Unless otherwise stated, the views expressed on this Web site are not necessarily the official views of the Society or its Committee and are not simply an endorsement of products or services.

Why become a member?

Talking PointBy becoming a financial member of ME/CFS Australia (SA) you are demonstrating your ongoing support of the aims and objectives of the Society.  You are helping us to help you.

Your membership adds weight to any submissions, grants or other applications the Society writes to governments and various agencies.

ME/CFS Australia (SA) does not receive any state government funding, and relies on the generosity of members, donors and fundraising to continue its work in the community. By becoming a member, you are supporting an organisation that strives to provide support, education and advocacy for every South Australian with ME/CFS and those who care for them.

Membership is only $5 per year, plus any amount you are able to offer as a donation.


Benefits of being a member include the following:

  • Membership Pack: containing a welcome letter, a copy of the latest Talking Point magazine and a copy of the latest newsletter.
  • Seminars: Free entrance to the four seminars held each year.
  • Talking Point Magazine: A journal that will keep you up to date with the latest information about ME/CFS, ME/CFS research, and coping with ME/CFS. Currently published three times a year.
  • Monthly newsletter.
  • Access to books and DVDs on ME/CFS.
  • Voting rights at special general meetings and annual general meetings.



How to Become a Member...

1. Download the Word Membership Form and save it to your computer.

2. Fill in the Form*

  • Make sure you save the form to your computer because the saved version will have active fields so you can fill it in on your computer.

3. Payment

  • Deposit direct to our account, over the counter at any Bank SA branch. 
    • Please use your initials and last name as the reference so we can match your payment to the membership form.
