Morgan Freeman Wore A Single Glove To The SAG Awards

Morgan Freeman rocked up to the Screen Actors Guild Awards this year looking slicker than ever, pairing his tux with a pair of aviator sunglasses and a baseball cap.

But what you may not have noticed was that he was also wearing a single beige glove - and it turns out there's one very good reason behind it.

Freeman has apparently had to wear the glove since 2008, after he was involved in a pretty brutal car accident in Mississippi.

Along with fibromyalgia - chronic pain that also affects his shoulder - as a result of the incident, Freeman's left hand was left paralysed, despite surgery to repair the nerve damage.

Freeman also told Esquire in a 2012 interview that the fibromyalgia causes pain 'up and down the arm'.

He added: "That's where it gets so bad. Excruciating."
