Eric McClure has seven kids, five businesses and two race teams.

The Chilhowie resident also manages a medical nightmare that has sidelined countless people, including current baseball star Matt Holliday of the New York Yankees.

The malady is called Epstein–Barr virus (EBV) and the symptoms range from extreme fatigue and fever to lack of appetite, weakness and sore muscles.
