Frome woman appealing for help in adopting nervous dog that has been waiting for home for years

A Frome woman searching for companionship is trying to adopt a dog that has been waiting for a home for more than four years.

Xanthe Anderson, 30, suffers from chronic fatigue syndrome and so is limited by what she can do. She spends much of her time housebound.

She's had her eye on Tom, a dog who's been living with the RSPCA for around four years, for quite some time now.
