Friday 4 April 2014

Flinders University Patient Research Opportunity
Researchers at Flinders University are seeking past patients, family members and carers of people to share stories about recent experiences in hospital.
The study is about being involved in recognising when a patient in hospital has become sicker and how to call the hospital’s emergency team. The research team will be exploring ways in which previous patients, carers and family members of patients would like to be informed about how to gain rapid attention for a patient who is showing signs of deterioration.
The research involves participation in an audio-recorded focus group of approximately 60 minutes duration. All personal details will be confidential and participants will be reimbursed $30 for their time.
The focus groups are due to commence in May 2014 with multiple dates and times available and locations across the metropolitan area until late in 2014.
