Strong VoicesThe SA Social Inclusion Unit has published its long-awaited report into South Australian disability services in the last days of Mr Rann's Premiership.

The title is "Strong Voices: A Blueprint to Enhance Life and Claim the Rights of People with Disability in South Australia (2012-2020)".

It contains 34 recommendations to the Government across 6 key areas of reform:

  1. Creating Accessible and Inclusive Communities
  2. Providing Choice, Taking Control
  3. Strengthening Rights, Protection, Advocacy and Safeguards
  4. Investing Early
  5. Diversifying Housing Choices
  6. Shaping Accessible and Inclusive Services
