The MusicWorksThe MusicWorksaka The Dynamic Day Gig – is a monthly event held at the Governor Hindmarsh Hotel. It's organised by and for people with disabilities.

The next edition of The MusicWorks will be this Tuesday, Melbourne Cup Day (1 November 2011) from 10:30am to 2:30pm.

Melbourne Cup Day Spectacular With Crazy Hats And Special guest Phar Lap

November 1st has another fantastic music line up with some of our favourite performers.

See you there for an exciting Melbourne Cup Day at the Governor Hindmarsh, 59 Port Road Hindmarsh (10:30am to 2:30pm) food and full bar facilities available.

  • Mamma & Mia – Our very own ABBA, and yes, believe it or not, freshly resurrected.
  • Phar Lap – will be doing a few laps of the Gov. So make or wear a fun hat for the Melbourne Cup Day Hats Parade, led by Phar Lap.
  • Prawnhead – Father and two sons trio playing funky bluebilly
