ME/CFS Life Stories Play Premiers Jul 14-15 at Missouri State University

Announcing the first public performance of I Represent: Invisible No More, a play by patient activist Rivka Solomon. If the videotaping is good quality we will see it later on YouTube.

According to the discussion on Facebook:

“For the first time, on July 14-15, at 12-1 pm, local actors from Missouri State University (Springfield) will dramatize the real-life stories of disabled Americans stricken with the little-understood illness called chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS). This "guerilla theater" dramatic performance, held on the North Mall outside Taylor Health and Wellness Center on the Missouri State Campus is open to the public and passers-by...

“Ivy Nelson, a local theater director from Monett, is working with professional actors to perform I Represent: Invisible No More, a collection of true stories from people living with ME/CFS (chronic fatigue syndrome).

“Because the patients are too sick to leave their homes, the actors will represent them and share their poignant, sometimes funny narratives. This public performance will be 'street theater,' where passers-by can stop and watch for as long as they want, offering Missourians a chance to hear what the lives of these disabled Americans are like."

For questions about the play, future production opportunities, etc., contact Rivka Solomon.
