Find A Carer
Monday 11 April 2011
Find A Carer is a website that enables those in need of care in Australia to find a carer anywhere. The website says:
Find A Carer
Find A Carer is the quick, easy and affordable way to find your own carer. Whether you need an aged carer for an elderly person, disability carer to assist an adult or child with special needs, our carers will be able to help.
How does this website work?
Carers register their details and provide a snapshot of their skills, qualifications and experience. This information is turned into a Carer profile which the Care Seeker can view. Care Seekers search our database, and when a suitable Carer(s) is found, they join and are then given access to contact the Carer/s via our secure email or sms service. Alternatively, Carers may search our database for Care Seekers who have advertised a job and make the first contact.
Four Easy Steps to Find A Carer
1. Click on your state or enter a postcode to perform a Search. Take a look at the Carer Profiles keeping in mind your needs as a Care Seeker.
3. Make Contact with the Carer(s) via email or sms.
4. Choose your preferred Carer(s) and make him/her anoffer to commence caring for you.
(N.B. Find A Carer will never disclose personal or contact details of Carers or Care Seekers. This information is disclosed at the discretion of the Carers and Care Seekers themselves.)
