Failure to Diagnose Fibromyalgia Costs Taxpayers and Overburdens the Healthcare System

MoneyThe American Chronicle’s Lourdes Salvador reports on researchers who have calculated the financial burden on sufferers – and society in general – caused by Fibromyalgia.

The paper, Health economic consequences related to the diagnosis of fibromyalgia syndrome, was authored by a team of researchers at Ghent University in Belgium and published in the March 2008 edition of Arthritis & Rheumatism.
