The Carnitine Study – we can do better

We’ve twice posted information [see 24 November and 18 January] about an interesting study being conducted at the Sansom Institute within the University of South Australia. But the researcher, Stephanie Reuter, tells us the response has been a bit disappointing. Only 10 people have volunteered so far. She needs at least twice that many.

How about pitching in and helping an SA researcher? The Institute will even offer you a $20 voucher just for one visit to give a blood sample. That’s better pay than the Society can offer its volunteers!!

Incidentally, Stephanie has added that if you participate in the study, the blood sample can be taken at your local IMVS. (A few people have been under the impression that they needed to travel to Adelaide to provide a sample.)
